Speakers

Dr Megan Brown is a Senior Research Associate in Medical Education at Newcastle University, within the School of Medicine. She is engaged in equity-focussed research and interested in how bias manifests within medical school experiences, and curricula. Moreover, she is motivated to address bias and discrimination within medical education, and advocates for changes to both policy and practice within medical, and health, professions education. She has lived experience of chronic pain and disability, which motivates her commitment to addressing inequity both for students, and patients, given the impact that education has on patient care.
