Dr. Nina Sesto is the co-founder and CEO of Megi Health, a UK-based startup supported by King’s College London, dedicated to developing an AI-driven cardiovascular health assistant. Committed to making healthcare universally accessible, Megi Health leverages AI to scale and optimize cardiovascular care pathways, ensuring that no patient walks alone. The DTAC-certified Megi solution is already integrated into healthcare systems across the UK, Central Europe, and Africa, delivering proven clinical outcomes and improving patient care.
Nina holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from the Pasteur Institute in Paris, and an MBA from HEC Paris and Wharton Business School. She entered digital health and AI as a consultant at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, exploring cancer treatment access in sub-Saharan Africa, and further honed her expertise at Singularity University’s Exponential Medicine program and Harvard Medical School’s Executive Education on AI in Medicine. Nina served as Director of Digital Health at Magdalena Cardiovascular Clinic and led the creation of the AI4Health European Digital Innovation Hub, which actively supports innovators and accelerates the adoption of AI in clinical practice in the EU. Passionate about reimagining cardiovascular care, Nina is dedicated to using AI to empower both patients and clinicians, making healthcare more personalized, proactive, and accessible.
